REQUEST

 

I would like the following details about your current arrangements for:

 

• Officer or staff ID cards (printed and blank) and warrant cards (if applicable)
• ID card printers and consumables
• Officer, staff, contractor and visitor lanyards
• Any other access control supplies

 

Please provide:

 

1. The supplier(s) name or names, Companies House registration number where available, and website address where available.
2. The contract reference number
3. The total value of the contract, including any permitted extensions
4. The contract end date and any extension period that may be used
5. A brief description of the service or goods provided by each supplier

 

If no formal contract is currently in place for any of these items, please provide for the most recent complete financial year:

 

6. The supplier name or names, Companies House registration number where available, and website address where available.
7. The total spend in pounds sterling.
8. A brief description of the items purchased.
9. The purchasing route used, for example purchase card, purchase order or framework call off.

 

This request excludes physical access control hardware and installation, repair or maintenance costs.

 

RESPONSE

 

We consulted with our Estates department who have provided the following information regarding your request.

 

Question 1

 

The supplier is Reliance Hi-Tech. This supplier covers all factors listed in the request.

Question 2

 

FILE 420 is the contract reference number.

Question 3

 

The total value contract is £799, 742.37.

 

Question 4

 

The contract end date is 31/10/2025. There is a 12 month extension available.

 

Question 5

 

The supplier’s role is to install and maintain a new access control system.

 

Question 6

 

Tremorfa is the old supplier for the access control system.

 

Question 7

 

£22k was spent in the last financial year for access cards.

 

Question 8

 

The role of the supplier was to maintain the existing access control system. This is to be replaced with the new system indicated in question 1-5.

 

Question 9

 

This was tendered over 20 years ago however is being phased out and replaced by a new system.
