We consulted with our Crime and Criminal Justice Department who have provided the following information in relation to your request.

Question 1

There are a total of 572 live warrants held by South Wales Police (SWP) as at 04/08/2026. This figure changes constantly and we are unable to obtain a retrospective count. This includes warrants sent to us by other forces where there is intelligence to suggest a defendant resides in the SWP force area.
