Reporting off road bikes loud and speeding and dangerous driving up and down Highbury Road, Ely, Cardiff today from 2pm and still going now at nearly 6pm.
Also a group of 3 electric bikes, young men with balaclavas, in black clothing, suspicious behaviour gathering by the green area on Grand Avenue near Charteris Road (see photo below) about 3pm today. Broad daylight.
Is it possible to request the statistics / numbers of reports of these incidents over the last 3 years please to understand the extent of the problem.
A search has been completed using our crime and incident recording system (NICHE RMS) for all incidents with the Local Qualifier ‘Anti-Social Behaviour’, between 1st January 2022 and 31st December 2024 for Highbury Road, Grand Avenue and Charteris Road, Cardiff.
This search yielded 118 records. Each record has been individually reviewed to only include occurrences involving off road bikes and electric bikes. This search returned 33 such incidents.
