REQUEST

1. The total number of ticket fraud crime reports made to the police force for each of the past five years (from Feb 2020 to Feb 2025)

If held, please provide:

- A distinction between concert and football ticket scams

- The names of the venues identified in each report

- The name of the artist or football team identified in each report

2. The total sum of money lost to the above reported ticket fraud incidents per year for each of the past five years (from Feb 2020 to Feb 2025).

The data you have requested is held by the City of London Police as they have responsibility for Action Fraud, so you will need to contact them for this information.

Action Fraud is the UK’s national reporting centre for fraud and cyber-crime and takes crime and information reports on behalf of the police and gives advice and fraud prevention guidance. Action Fraud does not have investigation powers, however the reports taken by Action Fraud are sent to the National Fraud Intelligence Bureau (NFIB) which is run by the City of London Police, the national lead force for fraud. The NFIB collates and analyses intelligence on fraud, identifying viable lines of enquiry and developing packages for submitting to a police force for investigation.
