• The total number of Notice of Intended Prosecutions (“NIPs”) for speeding offences issued in the calendar year 2024, broken down by speed limit. Please include all NIPs, regardless of how generated.

• Of the total number of NIPs above, how many were generated from fixed cameras, also broken down by speed limit.

We have consulted with our Central Ticket Office (CTO) who have provided the below response to your request.

Please see the below table that provides the number of notices of intended prosecution that have been sent to the registered keeper/owner of the vehicle involved in the alleged offence detected by safety camera within the South Wales Police force area between 1^st January 2024 and 31^st December 2024:

We have also consulted with our Motoring Unit who have provided the below response to your request in relation to speeding offences that were witnessed by police officers using manned equipment in the calendar year 2024.
