4. The number of these mobile speed cameras that are broken or not fully operational, according to the latest data;
5. The longest period a currently broken fixed speed camera has not been working;
6. The longest period a currently broken mobile speed camera has not been working;

RESPONSE

We consulted with our Central Ticket Office who have provided the following information regarding your request.

Question 1

There are 87 fixed safety camera within the South Wales Police Force area

Question 2

There are 13 mobile safety cameras used in the South Wales Police Force area.

Question 3

There are 11 cameras that are currently damaged/faulty.

Question 4

There are 0 mobile speed cameras broken or not fully operational in the South Wales Police Force area.

Question 5

The longest period of time a fixed safety camera has been broken is 06/09/2016 – the camera housing was broken into and burned out.

Question 6

If a mobile camera breaks, they are sent for repair immediately.
