REQUEST
On or about August 2024 an incident involving a possible impact on a badger sett by heavy machinery was made to the NRW, who passed this on to their (seconded?) WCO/s to investigate.
Please could you provide all, if so applicable, of your held details, records and documents etc that relate to and/or pertain to this incident, including any subsequent actions, responses and/or outcome.
RESPONSE
We consulted with our neighbourhood policing team who have provided the following information regarding your request.
South Wales Police do not have any officers seconded to the NRW. These incidents would be dealt with by Gwent or Dyfed Powys police force. The investigation would be overseen by their respective rural crime team.
