REQUEST
I am writing to request information regarding crimes reported to South Wales Police by charities and not-for-profit organisations. Specifically, I would like to request the following data:
- The number of crimes reported by charities and not-for-profit organisations, broken down by town/city and year, for the past five years (or the most recent available period).
- A breakdown of these crimes by type of offence (e.g., fraud, theft, arson etc.).
CLARIFICATION
The applicant would like occurrences whereby the charity/non-profit organisation is person reporting and data whereby they are the person reporting and the victim.

Please note the below data includes the number of crimes where the business type ‘Charitable’ is listed as a Victim or Caller between the time frame 01/01/2019-28/02/2025.
