RESPONSE

 

We consulted with our Estates department who have provided the below response to your request.

 

Question 1

 

Access to remote locations, funding for new technology, sufficient staffing levels to monitor systems. Police examples in include Crime mapping hotspots and vehicle tracking (IR3).

Question 2

 

Yes. Aspect and impact registers are held with HQ. Organisational carbon emissions are recorded and monitored annually.

 

Question 3

 

A new Police and Crime plan is currently in development which will confirm these key objectives which will be available on the South Wales Police website when published.

 

Question 4

 

There are a number of estates projects (e.g. Solar installation projects), plus a number of New Build Projects, retrofitting projects and site development projects in progress at present.

No specific supplier – works are tendered when needed.

Unfortunately, we are being asked for different pipelines from numerous organisations.  It’s a huge amount of work preparing for the new Procurement Regs and updating all our processes. Our efforts are going into that for now. Pipelines will come in due course, when the regs state that we are required to produce them.
