Chaplaincy Service Our Chaplaincy Service enables officers and staff t have a person to talk to and act as a critical friend. Their role is to be involved in the provision of basic support and a ‘listening ear’.
Employers for Carers We support our working carers and are an active member of the Carers UK’s business forum, Employers for Carers. Our membership gives all employees access to the Employers for Carers website which offers a range of resources that can help us support staff who juggle work and caring commitments. It also offers advice for managers of carers.
Police Sport South Wales (PSSW) For a small monthly payroll contribution PSSW can save you money and help support your wellbeing. PSSW actively fund 28 supporting sections within the force and also offer exclusive discounts for theatre tickets, products, day trips and more.

Tax free Childcare Scheme All employees are eligible to apply for a tax Free Childcare where you can get up to £2000 a year for each of your children to help with the costs of childcare or up to £4000 a year to help with the cost of childcare if your child is disabled.

Your starting salary will be £23,100 - £25,353. In addition to your salary, you will be entitled to a set shift allowance and be eligible to claim weekend enhancements as applicable.
