We hope that you have been able to find all the information you need on our website to help support you into a career in policing. However if you would like to talk through anything in person with us our Positive Action team will be at the following events across the South Wales region. Do come and say hello and ask us about your next steps for your career with South Wales Police.
Please note, if no events are listed below we unfortunately are not due to attend any events open to the general public. If you have any questions you can contact the relevant team using the details below.
Alongside of these our team also attend a number of events hosted by schools, colleges and universities across South Wales. Please check with your education provider what events are coming up soon. If you would like our team to come and present at your education establishment please do contact us using the below information.
Our familiarisation events are designed to provide you with an understanding of the processes and expectations involved during the recruitment and training process of our core uniformed roles.
During these sessions we invite key members of our HR department to discuss the application process and eligibility as well as current Police Officers and Police Staff to give an insight into their day-to-day roles. There will be an opportunity to ask questions to members of the force and discover more about recruitment opportunities, entry routes and training requirements.
