It has been reported to police that damage has been caused to the changing rooms at Cwm Level Park sporting fields. A problem solving plan has been put in place with frequent patrols conducted of the area. Further target hardening measures for the location are being considered such as further lighting.

The local councillors and local neighbourhood police team have discussed this issue at length. We are continuing to conduct patrols with both uniformed and plain clothed officers to deter persons from causing issues at the location. At this time we have seen a reduction in the number of reported issues of both anti-social behaviour and damage to park facilities.

Locally we are making efforts to identify those involved and take action whilst also looking to educate parents on where these types of vehicle can be used legally and safely. A number of seizures have taken place and an operation is planned to target those who will actively evade police.
