Following the flash flood in the Rasuwa district and the Nepal-China border area on 26 August, the Nepalese government has established a toll-free emergency Nepalese language number (1234), and a dedicated hotline (1144) accessible in Nepal. Neighbourhood policing is at the heart of our approach to keeping South Wales safe. Your local team is made up of dedicated officers and PCSOs based in the area, who have the community’s best interests at heart and who are both visible and accessible.
We work closely with residents, community leaders, your local council and other partners to understand and respond to community concerns. By working together and focusing on early intervention, prevention and problem solving, we can find long-term solutions to local issues.
As well as the information on this page, you can find out more about crime and policing activity in your community, as well as contact details for your local team, via South Wales Listens.
South Wales Listens also gives you the opportunity to tell your local neighbourhood policing team about the issues that matter most to you, as well as take part in surveys to enable us to better understand concerns in your community.
We will also let you know about local engagement events, crime prevention advice, and occasionally about significant policing activity in your area.
