Road Safety Illegal Bikes and Scooters- In the run up to Christmas arrange: We will be conducting engagements with school/colleges with regards to illegal Eike and Scooters. through South Wales listens we will the safety and promote reporting.

Vehicle Crime – Reports of persons entering unlocked vehicles and taking items. These persons are going around trying car door handles. Increased patrols will be conducted.
Road safety issues – Speed scoping operations will be conducted at various locations across the ward, to assess the extent of the issue and identify hotspots for further enforcement and intervention.
Drug dealing – Hotspots for drug-related activity will be patrolled for prevention, detection and intelligence gathering purposes.

Vehicle Crime – We have conducted patrols, conducted house to house enquiries, gathered Video evidence from the local community.
Road safety issues – Operation Livewire was launched to tackle illegal Ebikes being used in the local area. Speed scoping operations will be conducted at various locations across the ward, to assess the extent of the issue and identify hotspots for further enforcement and intervention.
Drug dealing – Warrants and searches have been conducted locally. Drugs seized and Arrests have been made. Intelligence has been gathered and more action is to follow.

Shoplifting in the area - in particular the Co-op Colcot Road and One Stop Winston Road.

Over the previous period, the ward priority of shoplifting was addressed through proactive engagement with local retailers. Officers encouraged businesses to make full use of the NICE Investigate platform to streamline evidence sharing and support faster case progression. This was complemented by increased targeted patrols in key areas, helping to deter offenders and reassure the community.
