Thirty people have been sentenced for their part in serious disorder which happened in the Ely area of Cardiff on Monday, May 22, 2023.
South Wales Police is carrying out a review of exhibits to assess whether there is any potential for further forensic investigation.
Kane Evans, 29, was arrested by police in Bristol Airport on January 29, 2026, where he had returned from a holiday in Cyprus.
This takes the total number seized to more than 600 since the summer.

Patrols have increased around the Bassett area, which has seen a reduction in ASB. Passing patrols will continue.

Patrols have continued, ASB has improved however there is intelligence for drug use and driving offences due to nominals being temporary housed in the area. We will continue to monitor.
