Op Livewire - The BCU response to the use of illegal e-vehicles took place on Friday 3rd July.
The operation which is a multi-agency approach between SWP, Cardiff Council and Home Office Immigration Enforcement has been running since August 2025.
The latest deployment involved officers from CAV NPT, OSS along with an NPAS fixed wing aircraft.
Altogether 68 illegal vehicles were seized during the deployment including seven high powered Sur-Ron bikes, and an illegally adapted e-bike which reached a maximum speed of 87 mph.
The total now seized stands at 800. -
