Summary
South Wales Police held a gross misconduct hearing in respect of “Officer Y” who is accused of engaging in conduct towards ‘Officer A’ that fell below the expectations of a serving police officer in such a way that contravened the following Standards of Professional Behaviour:
Decision
Had “Officer Y” still been a serving officer they would’ve been dismissed without notice
In accordance with the Police (Conduct) Regulations 2020 the Findings and Outcome from this hearing will be referred to the College of Policing in order for “Officer Y” to be placed on the Private Police Barred List.
