Knife Crime data is based on NDQIS (National Data Quality Improvement Service) data in line with ADR (Annual Data Requirement) 160 requirements for offences involving knives or sharp instruments. Please see attached document for full detail of the criteria used for this as there are a few parts to how it is done and it is an automated process provided by NDQIS.
