We have consulted with our vehicle recovery collaboration unit who have provided the following information.

Please note these figures relate to vehicles being ‘seized’ using the Vehicle recovery scheme. The request asks for vehicles ‘confiscated’ and there may be occasions where officers have confiscated these types of vehicles and recovered them while not using the vehicle recovery scheme.
