REQUEST

I'm writing under the Freedom of Information Act 2000. I request the following information for the period of January 1st, 2024, until the date this request is processed.

For the purposes of this request, I make reference to several companies and products as below.

Companies
The Squad Group Ltd (company number 14902649)
Compliant Technologies UK LTD (company number 17342640)
Compliant Technologies LLC (registered in Lexington, Kentucky, USA)

Products
The G.L.O.V.E (Generated Low Output Voltage Emitter), a product supplied by the companies listed above
CD3 Technology, a product supplied by the companies listed above

1. Expenditure

Please provide any records of payments made to The Squad Group or either registrations of Compliant Technologies, providing where held:

• Date
• Amount
• Supplier
• Description of goods/services

2. Procurement

Please provide copies of contracts, purchase orders or agreements entered into with any of these companies during this period

3. Trials

Please confirm whether your organisation has tested, trialled, evaluated or formally considered acquiring G.L.O.V.E or CD3 Technology, or any electrically-activated gloves in this time period.

Please provide copies of any trial reports, evaluation reports, or business cases that may be relevant to these trials.

Please also provide the date and location of any demonstrations or presentation of the G.L.O.V.E or CD3 Technology attended by your staff, also supplying the organisation unit(s) represented at the demonstration, alongside which company provided the demonstration.

RESPONSE

We consulted with our Strategic Procurement Team, and we can confirm that South Wales Police do not hold the information requested as we can find no information on these companies within procurement.
