REQUEST 

Please could you confirm how many crimes have been reported to your force that mention Ozempic, Mountjaro, Semaglutide, Saxenda, weight-loss injections, weight-loss jabs or a combination of these in the ‘modus operandi’ for each of the following time frames:

 

  • 1st March 2020 to 28th February 2021
  • 1st March 2021 to 28th February 2022
  • 1st March 2022 to 28th February 2023
  • 1st March 2013 to 29th February 2024
  • 1st March 2024 to 28th February 2025

 

Where possible, please also provide details of the alleged offence in each case.

 

RESPONSE

 

A search has been conducted on our crime and incident reporting system (NICHE RMS) for all occurrences recorded throughout the specified time period where the MO (modus operandi) contains one of the following key words, Ozempic, Mountjaro, Semaglutide, or Saxenda.

 

This search retrieved no results.

 

Please note that this data has been gathered by searching our records management system for offences containing the keywords Ozempic, Mountjaro, Semaglutide, or Saxenda in the relevant time period. The results retrieved are dependent on how the information has been entered onto the system. As such, the information provided should not be considered statistically accurate and/or definitive and therefore, care should be taken when using this data for any further statistical, analytical or evaluative purposes.
