REQUEST
The number of fines/ prosecutions issued due to breaches in Covid-19 lockdown restrictions for the different counties in South Wales. In the calendar years 2020-2023
RESPONSE
A search has been conducted on our crime and incident recording system (Niche RMS) for all crimes recorded under the Home Office (HO) offence codes listed in the attached document entitled ‘HO Codes 661_25’ between 1st January 2020 and 31st December 2023 where ‘South Wales’ is selected as the owning agency.
Each of these occurrences have been individually interrogated in order to ascertain the outcome type.
