REQUEST
Since the introduction of the default 20mph speed limit in Wales, how many times have speed or speed-related issues been raised as a PACT priority in the local authority areas of Cardiff, Vale of Glamorgan and Rhondda Cynon Taf?
RESPONSE
We consulted with our Cardiff and Vale Basic Command Unit who have provided the following information regarding your request.
The 20mph limit decision has not been raised in any public meetings across Cardiff and the Vale.
The PACT meeting format is not in place in most areas and it has not been raised by any of the communities as a priority in any of our public meetings.
Speed in general has been raised previously in the Vale public meeting but not specific to the 20mph limit.
