REQUEST
For the calendar year of 2024, could you please tell me how many times a biologically male police officer (adult) strip searched a biological girl (i.e. under 18) - please tell me the location of the search (i.e. was it in custody or somewhere else like a school or a hospital), what the grounds were for the search (if pre-arrest) and whether any outcome was recorded (i.e. did the officer then make an arrest - for drugs/weapons, for example - based on what was seized or was there NFA). Whether the strip search took place (by a man on a girl) in custody or pre-custody, please tell me for each case why a biological adult female did not perform the search.
RESPONSE
We consulted with our Performance analysts who have advised the following regarding your request.
A search was conducted on our crime and incident recording system (NICHE RMS) for strip searches between 01/04/2024-31/03/2025 where a male officer strip searched a female under the age of 18.
This search retrieved no results.
