Does your force have a policy outlining your approach to verifying the authenticity of potentially AI-generated or manipulated crime-related media (that is, CCTV footage, video recordings, audio files, still images.)

We consulted with our Joint Scientific Investigative Unit who have provided the following information regarding your request.

 

South Wales Police do not have a Policy outlining what has been requested.
