Please also provide figures on how many children (age 17 and under) were remanded (charged and detained for court) by your police force in the 12 months to y/e March 2025, broken down by ethnicity and offence type

RESPONSE

A search was conducted on our crime and incident recording system (NICHE RMS) for those aged 17 and under that were remanded in custody by South Wales Police between 01/04/2024 to 31/03/2025. This search retrieved 18 results.

All 18 remanded in custody were non-notifiable offences.
