REQUEST
Would it be possible to know which figures match up to which years - i.e. have a total value stolen for 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025 so far
PREVIOUS REQUEST
I am writing under the FOI Act to request records of high-value (over £500 in value) retail thefts involving Lego products since January 2020.
More specifically:
PREVIOUS RESPONSE
A search has been conducted on our crime and incident recording system (Niche RMS) for all occurrences containing the keyword ‘Lego’ within the summary field, where the occurrence types ‘CR40 Burglary’ or ‘CR41 Theft & Handling’ is recorded between 1st January 2020 and 16th April 2025.
Each of these occurrences have been individually interrogated in order to establish their relevance and to ascertain the location of the theft and the estimated value of the stolen Lego.
Please be advised that all other theft-related offences, such as ‘theft from motor vehicle’ have not been included within the below figures. The below figures include shoplifting and burglary offences only.
