Thanks for your prompt reply to my FOI request.
Unfortunately the response does not answer either of my questions and is incorrect or not relevant.
The response states that the information I requested is available in the public domain via the link provided, but nowhere on the suggested link does it give the following:
"The number of police-recorded incidents involving reports of a firearm (including possession, threats
involving a firearm, or discharge of a firearm) within the Llancarfan area of the Vale of Glamorgan for the
calendar years 2022, 2023, and 2024 to date."
There following is also not included in the link, as per my request:
"1. A monthly or quarterly breakdown of these incidents
The information I am looking for is specific to gun crime and firearm possession and does not appear to be publicly available by other means, as the response suggests.
If the statistics about firearm incidents for 2022, 2023 and 2024 in the Llancarfan area are available anywhere online, I'd greatly appreciate it if you could provide a link to such information.
