On Saturday 21st June, the South Wales branch of the Wales LGBT+ Police Network arranged attendance for off duty officers, staff and volunteers alongside friends and family at the Pride Cymru parade held in Cardiff. This started at 0900 and finished at approximately 1330.
4000 x Bio-degradable hand waving flags for use at Swansea Pride, Pride Cymru and other events throughout the year - £1,268 + VAT incl Carriage & Origination
5000 x Branded lollies for use at SWP Fun Day, Swansea Pride and Pride Cymru - £1,498 + VAT incl Carriage & Origination
The Wales LGBT+ Police Network sponsor the accessibility areas of Pride Cymru each year, this includes BSL translators, accessible viewing areas, quiet zones and accessible toilets among other accessibility related features of the event. In return, the Network receive entry for our staff, officers, volunteers and friends and family to participate in the parade and wider events, plus a 3x3m stall at the event for community engagement. Network logos are also displayed within the venue on the digital screens.
This package is £5,000 + VAT which is split between the 4 forces with South Wales contributing £2,000 and Dyfed-Powys, Gwent and North Wales Police contributing £1,000 each.
