The percentage of cars that received a Notice of Intended Prosecution / Fixed Penalty Notice out of the total number of cars from the enforcement on Heol West Plas on 17 July 2025 in the afternoon (around 17:00 hours). Please also confirm the range all cars were found to be driving at, and over the speed limit by.

We consulted with our CTO (Central Ticket Office) who have provided the below response to your request.
Whilst at a site, the camera operator does not record/keep a running tally of the total number of vehicles that pass their enforcement position. Their training and experience enable them to form a ‘prior opinion’ of speed, as vehicles approach. The camera is only aimed at those vehicles that the operator believes to be travelling over the prosecution threshold.
A total of 27 notices were issued as a result of alleged offences detected on the 17th July 2025 between 16:07 and 17:25 at Heol West Plas, Coity, Bridgend travelling between 26mph and 34 mph.
The first notice was issued as a result of an offence detected on the 9th March 2025, therefore there is no information held for 2024 to provide.
