We consulted with our Dog and Mounted Section who have provided the response to your request below.
23 dogs were seized during the time frame specified.
South Wales Police does not hold this information as we do not record averages.

£25 per day at 2 kennel sites and £37.50 a day at another kennel site.

The court have agreed with 100% of the S1 dogs seized so far – we have not seized any, Dogo Argentino Japanese, Tosa or Fila Brasileiro in South Wales Police.
A search was carried out on our crime and incident reporting system (NICHE RMS) for HO (Home office) code:
8N/8/21: Owner or Person in charge allowing dog to be dangerously out of control in any place in England or Wales (whether or not a public place) injuring any person or assistance dog.
Outcome filters for: Charged/Summonsed/Postal Requisition were used for the time frame specified. There were 3 results retrieved.
No dogs involved in relation to question 3 were any of the breeds under section 1 of the act.

During the requested time frame 1 Pit Bull was euthanised.
