Road Traffic Accidents involving South Wales Police A4059 Road Junction, next to the Bowls Hall, Mountain Ash,
Under the Freedom of Information Act and the Environmental Regulations, could you please provide the following information for the A4059 road junction next to the Bowls Hall, Mountain Ash,
To clarify: while all three Freedom of Information requests relate to the A4059, they each refer to different and specific sections or junctions of that road, each with distinct safety concerns and a history of incidents.
They have been submitted separately, each under its own reference, because the information sought is unique to each location:
We have consulted with our Intelligence Analysts who have conducted a search on our crime and incident recording system (Niche RMS) for all road traffic collisions (RTCs) that occurred within the requested time-period. The analysts have been able to map the requested area to bring back occurrences where the occurrence location is recorded within the area of the A4059 road junction in Newtown, Mountain Ash/Southern Cross Link Road.
This search did not return any results.
Please be advised, the results that come back are dependent on how the information has been entered onto the system. The occurrence location is recorded when the report is first received. This is dependent on the reporting person providing details of the exact location of the RTC. Therefore, this must not be considered accurate and care should be taken when quoting this.
South Wales Police does not hold the information to answer this part of your request.
You may wish to redirect question 4 to South Wales Fire and Rescue Service who may be able to assist.
