1. How many incidents of street harassment were reported to your force in the years 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024 respectively; 
2. How many of the alleged victims for each year were male and how many were female; 
3. How many of the alleged perpetrators for each year were male and how many were female.

CLARIFICATION 13/03/2025

By "street harassment" I mean unwanted and unwelcome sexualised or gender-based behaviour in public spaces. Ie

• unsolicited sexualised or offensive comments or gestures
• unwanted whistling or honking
• so-called 'catcalling'
• indecent exposure
• stalking or being followed
• intrusive staring
• persistent sexual advances
• unwanted touching
• being insulted or shouted at
• feeling physically threatened

RESPONSE

A search has been conducted on our crime and incident recording system (NICHE RMS) under the crime type harassment within the requested time frame. We further refined this search under the address type ‘street record’.
