Report antisocial behaviour
If you want to tell us about something you think may breach the government measures, please contact us about that using our coronavirus (Covid-19) service.
From aggressive, noisy or abusive behaviour to neighbourhood disturbances involving drugs or animals, antisocial behaviour takes many forms.
If you’ve witnessed antisocial behaviour, please report it to us.
Reports are dealt with by our control room in exactly the same way whether you report it online or call 101.
Report fireworks creating unwanted noise and causing a nuisance
If you’re experiencing nuisance noise from a neighbour regularly setting off fireworks on their property between the hours of 7am to 11pm, please report this to your local council.
UK night time hours are 11pm to 7am. It's against the law to set off fireworks during these times.
Exceptions to this are:
- Bonfire Night (until midnight)
- New Year’s Eve, Diwali, and Chinese New Year (until 1am)
If you are experiencing a one-off, prolonged night of disturbance caused by illegal firework use, you can report this online.
Click 'Start' below to complete our quick and simple form. Please give as much information as you can.
We’ll assess your report, record the incident, and decide on the best course of action. We'll usually only get in touch with you if we need more details.
In some cases we’ll notify your local policing team who deal with antisocial behaviour. They may want to get in touch with you to discuss it further.
You'll be able to download a copy of your report for your own records.
Average completion time: 5 to 10 minutes
