Policing Education Qualification Framework
PEQF stands for Policing Education Qualification Framework and is the professional training framework for police officers. The PEQF framework is continually being developed to ensure the training we provide is to the best standard and to reflect the views of our students.
As part of the policing vision 2025, it was highlighted that:

In November 2022 the Home Secretary announced that she has requested the College of Policing to consider a non – degree entry route into policing to complement the existing degree entry pathways.
The College of Policing is now considering and reviewing this – and will notify individual Police Forces when this is complete. This will involve a new programme – and not a return to the previous Initial Police Learning Development Programme.
Until this time – South Wales Police will retain the existing degree programme entry routes.
