A man from Swansea has been jailed for his role in the supply of Class A drugs.
28-year-old Sean Rowles, from the city centre, was stopped by officers in Uplands on April 16 and was found to be in possession of a mobile phone tied to ongoing drug-related text messages.
He was then taken into custody, where a bag containing a large white rock and powder were found stashed in his underwear. This later tested positive for crack cocaine.
Rowles pleaded guilty to possession with intent to supply a Class A drug and has been sentenced to four years in prison.
PC Corey Morris said:
“Sean Rowles knew that he was involved in the supply of Class A drugs, but was so determined to avoid the repercussions that he attempted to claim the drugs belonged to his partner.
“Much like any other drug dealer, Sean is a selfish individual who only cares about his financial bottom line and not at all about the impact the drugs he supplies has on the wider community.
“There is no place for drug dealers like Sean in our society, and he is rightfully starting a good spell in prison.”
