A 65-year-old man from Barry has been sentenced to 24 years in prison for multiple child sex offences.
Mark Jones appeared at Cardiff Crown Court on Friday, April 4, after being found guilty of:
Jones was sentenced to 24 years in prison with an extended licence period of one year. He was also given a restraining order in respect of all four victims.
Detective Constable Natalie Revers said:
“Mark Jones is a sexual predator who preyed on the vulnerability of multiple victims, so we are pleased with the court outcome following his offences.
“Despite the ages of the victims, Jones’ actions have had a profound effect on them. We hope that this sentence helps the victims and their families move forward.”
