Six men jailed for cocaine supply

 

Six men from Swansea, Neath Port Talbot and Carmarthenshire have been jailed for their involvement in the supply of cocaine.

25-year-old Liam Davies, from Swansea city centre, 32-year-old Kyle Johansen, from Portmead, 39-year-old Jay Picton, from Peniel Green, 39-year-old Jeffery Surman, from Townhill, 51-year-old Dean Williams, from Skewen, and 35-year-old Gary Lewis, from Llanelli, were all found guilty following investigative work under Operation Manfern.

Kyle Johansen, Dean Williams and Jay Picton were identified as having been involved in purchasing and supplying cocaine by the kilogram and have each been sentenced to six years and eight months in prison.

Jeffery Surman has been sentenced to three years and eight months in prison; Liam Davies has been jailed for three years, and Gary Lewis for two years and eight months.

Detective Inspector Richard George said:

“All six of these men have been rightfully jailed for their part in supplying Class A drugs, which cause untold misery and harm in our communities.

“Operation Manfern sees officers work tirelessly to secure convictions for all those involved in illegal drug supply. This crime results in some of the most vulnerable in society being exploited by criminals who care about nothing other than cash.

“To others involved in the illegal drug trade: our officers will identify you, and your assets will be removed, and you will be brought to justice.”
