A man who attacked a stranger after taking cocaine on a night out in Swansea with friends, has been sentenced to four years in prison.
Twenty-eight-year-old Thomas Little, from Neath, left his victim needing surgery to have metal plates and screws fitted to his face following the assault in the early hours of October 31 last year.
Officers would later find Little covered in his victim’s blood.
PC Sarah Prigmore said:
“Officers are working hard to deal with issues within the city centre through Op Viscaria and After Dark.
“I am glad to see the court sending out a message that this kind of behaviour will not be tolerated. We have now removed a violent person from the streets, stopping him from targeting other members of the public trying to enjoy themselves.”
