South Wales Police is continuing to investigate an incident in Splott, Cardiff, which has left a man with serious head injuries.
Detectives want to speak to anyone who was in the Marion Street area yesterday (Sunday, March 5) between 1.00pm and 3pm.
Detective Superintendent Darren George said: “On Sunday afternoon, at around 2.30pm, South Wales Police was called to a report of a man with serious head injuries in Marion Street, Splott.
“Extensive enquiries are ongoing to ascertain how he come to suffer these injuries and we would appeal for anyone with information to please come forward.
“We would urge anyone who was in the area between 1.00pm and 3pm, or anyone who may have CCTV or dashcam footage, to please get in touch.”
The injured man, aged 40, was taken to the University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff, where he remains in a serious condition.
