We're appealing for witnesses to a road traffic collision in Cardiff city centre last night.The incident happened in Wood Street shortly before 11.30pm, when a man riding a bicycle was in collision with a dark-coloured car.The cyclist suffered serious head injuries and is currently in a critical condition at the University Hospital of Wales.A 22-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident and is in police custody.Officers investigating the collision are appealing to anyone who witnessed the collision to contact us on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111, quoting occurrence number 1900310521. ... We are still appealing for information to locate missing man Andrew Mahoney.Andrew, 46, was last seen at 7.20am on Monday, July 8, getting off a bus in Newport Central Bus Station carrying a black sports bag. He was reported missing on July 9. He has links to Ebbw Vale in Gwent and also London. We believe he has made contact with the Missing Persons Charity to confirm he is safe and well, however we still need him to be sighted by a police officer or a member of another professional organisation.We would ask Andrew to attend his nearest police station as soon as possible.If anyone sees Andrew, please call us on 101, quoting ref: *248725. ... The 68 year-old woman who died following a road traffic collision on Cowbridge Road, Cardiff on Friday 16th August has been named as Oi Mee Lam from Llandaff.The collision involved a grey Nissan Micra, a black Audi A3 and a black taxi. Ms Lam, the driver of the Micra, was taken to the University Hospital of Wales, where she later died.In paying tribute to Ms Lam, her family said: “Oi Mee Lam was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, mother-in-law, aunt and friend. “She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.
