Our online service is temporarily offline.
We're working to get it back online again as soon as possible.
In the meantime, if you need to speak to someone:
Call 101.
If you have a hearing or speech impairment use our textphone service 18001 101.
Call 999 if:
If you're deaf or hard of hearing, use our textphone service 18000.
Or text us on 999 if you've pre-registered with the emergencySMS service.
Call 999 and follow these instructions:
Press 55 when prompted and your call will be transfered to the police.
Pressing 55 only works on mobiles and doesn't allow us to track your location.
If you don't press 55 your call will be ended.
If you don't speak and the operator can only hear background noises they'll transfer your call to the police.
If you replace the handset the landline may remain connnected for 45 seconds, in case you pick up again.
Calling 999 from a landline automatically passes your location to the police.
