Bridgend
'F' Division - Bridgend

Bridgend covers an area encompassed by the Bridgend unitary authority. The total population is in excess of 135,000 people and local government projections indicate that there will be a continuing yearly increase through inward migration.
The main town in the division is Bridgend. To the north are the former mining communities of the Llynfi, Garw and Ogmore Valleys, whilst to the South is the seaside resort of Porthcawl.
The division covers approximately 80 square miles including 500 miles of road network and a 12 mile stretch of the M4 motorway.
The aim of the division is to make Bridgend County Borough a safer and more peaceful place, where the public, especially those who are young, vulnerable or from minority or ethnic communities, have a high degree of confidence in the police. The aim is to be recognised by other agencies as being an important partner contributing to the well being of the people who live in and visit the force area.
The Division is under the command of Superintendent Tim JONES
