2011-15 will continue to be a challenging period for South Wales Police. While we will be operating under tough financial constraints, we will continue to work to provide real value for money and will look to re-shape our organisation while further improving the service we provide to you.
We will ensure that we have the right people, in the right places and will work towards developing a system to ensure that our skills and numbers of people remain in the places where they can achieve the best result.
We will develop ways of ensuring that we support all members of South Wales Police in a way that helps them to do their job in the most efficient and effective manner.
We will work with our partners in other emergency services and local authorities to establish if we can provide better value for money. We will undertake work to establish whether the way in which we do things is the best way, or if there are other ways available that would enhance the service provided to our communities as well as save us time and money.
