Crime figures for 2009/2010 released by the Home Office on Thursday 15th July 2010, reveal that crime in the South Wales Police area has fallen by 11.8% compared to 2008/2009. This equates to 38 less victims of crime per day, on average and places the Force as the 8th most improved in Wales and England for reducing crime.
